Pride & UFC

Anybody else into watching these on TV? They show UFC on Spike TV a lot. Pride comes on FSN (Fox Sports Network). I like pride a lot more though because of the caliber fighters.

Yeah man, the UFC is great, but we don't get Pride a lot in England. My favourite fighters are, Chuck Liddell, Andrei Arlovski, Vitor Belfort, Rich Franklin, George St Pierre, and Matt Hughes,. MMA fighting is so much more exciting than Boxing. I hear Pride has a much higher standard than the UFC. Do you watch K-1 as well?

Those are definitely some cool fighters in the UFC. As far as pride goes I would have to say the majority of the fighters are definitely of a much higher caliber. My specific favorites are:
Mirko Crocop
Vanderlei Silva
Fedor Emelianko
Antonio Nogueira

Yeah, I've seen Vanderei Silva, in the UFC when he fought Vitor Belfort, and I saw Mirko Crocop beat Mark Coleman at Pride. I've heard great things about Fedor and Nogueira but never seen them fight cause Pride doesn't get shown here in England. But you know Chuck Liddell wants to fight Vanderlei now that he's doing so well at Pride. You should check out some MMA forums, there's one I'm registered with called MMAFIGHTING.net, there's lots of Pride fans there. From what I've heard there's definitely much higher calibre fighters at Pride.

Sometimes I catch UFC on Spike and although I don't watch it regularly if it is on I am usually hooked.

Fedor is the man, they say he spends 3 hours a day on the heavy bag.\
Have any of you guys seen Francois Botha from south africa fight? I only saw one and he lost but his entrance song is "Buffalo Soilder" I didnt think he could loose with that as his theme song.

i love ufc, specially now that they brought in rampage and cro-cop who were alrdy some of my fav fighters, glad someone finally beat liddells over-rated white trash ass lol
