Methadone

Im gettin some methadone tonight, how much should i take to feel kick ass, i've never done methadone before so im not sure what to expect i know it is a synthetic opiate/opioid and used to combat heroin addiction but people tell em its just as good as any pain killer. anyone got any experiences on it, nothin much on erowid.

it lasts a long time 30 hrs...takes a couple to hit ya 20 -30 mgs at first and wait a full2hrs before you add another if needed ,,,thats my lower tollerance recomendation

i have a decent opiate tolerance, which is strange for as much as i do them , and as long as i have done them, but like with oxy i usually blow 20-30 mg's and i usually take orally the same amount with other pills. so 2 or 3 methadone should do me just right, and is it the same feeling as the rest of the great family of narcotic pain killers? i assume it is.

Depending on your tolerance. I would say probably two should do it for you. Methadone has somewhat of a different high then other opiate pain killers. The high is still totally bitchin' though if you like opiates. The half life of methadone is 24 hours. But I'd say it's a good 12 hour high. Right now I AM on a methadone maitenance program to get off the oxycontins!! I took pain killers for a good eight years. So I take 120mg. of methadone every morning. I can't get high even if I tried, & believe me I have tried!! Although I tool soma's once & I was soooo loaded...........man I wish i could find some of those!

I think methadones are much stronger than any other opiate mg to mg orally.

i take one wafer (40mg) and i'm lit for a good 4 hours. 40mg of oxy or hydrocodone dont do shit to me.

i am starting to think methadones block the other opiates though. I got a 10mg morphine vial from my friend and did it I.m. and it didn't do shit. Made me sad
