Has anybody else read this? I'm about 1/4 through it, and it's pretty good. It started off a bit odd for my taste (the amount of annoying sarcasm can be painfully irritating), but I'm really starting to enjoy it.

Dunno if I should add spoilers to discuss or not..

I love Pat Conroy's books. Probebly the bset description in modern American literature.

That book is not his best, I would recommend "The Prince of Tides" and "Beach Music". AMAZING books.
