Take her to a Planned Parenthood to get birth control and some unbiased information about STDs, let her know you care and are concerned, but like BlueBong said, preaching's never well recieved. That's the best way you can help her. If she's having unprotected sex, she needs to at least be on some sort of contraception so that she won't have her life ruined before she even starts high school, but don't push. But don't sit by and watch her destroy her life. While preaching is bad, showing concern is not. Maybe she lacks attention she needs and makes up for it through boys, she may truly just need love. Just be there, let her know you're concerned, and help her get essential education about sex.

Not so true. This girl I knew got pregnant freshman year. She later had a miscarriage, and then got pregnant again the next year. I think that time she got an abortion, but whatever.
I guess the worst part of the whole thing was that her boyfriend was using condoms every time. Must have like super-sperm or something. Jeez.

Are you a friend or gardian? If you're a friend, Ramona is dead on. You might also need to be a snitch (horrid label, but I'd wear it proudly to help someone I cared about) and let someone who is responsible for the girl know what's up. Hard to believe, but some parents are oblivious. If you're her gardian (and I mean this in the nicest way) get off your ass and do something about this before she hurts herself. At 13 she not a woman. She is a child. As a matter of fact, this thread belongs in the parenting forum, because that's what she needs, some good parenting. If she's strong willed, fucking be stronger. If you can't be stronger than a 13 year old child, the state can help you. I have a best friend who told me he was headed for some serious jail time until his father came and got him away from his friends with a .38 and a pair of handcuffs. Some dick wads might cry "too harsh". I think he was lucky to have someone who loved him enough to do that for him. Maybe you need to grow some balls and stand up to lil miss self destructive before she does permanent damage to herself or her life. Or worse yet gets pregnant and fucks up TWO lives. Just my opinion.
