I am, and hae been for quite sometime now (three years). Once you go down the rabbit hole, you never quite come back out. It''s not a bad thing though.

It's not really a feeling that interferes with my day to day life. It's just sort of a veil over everything. Sometimes I notice it more than others, sometime I don't notice it at all.

I've done many psychoactives, so I don't know which one exactly gave me this effect. It is most likely a mix between LSD, Salvia, Mushrooms, Peyote, and DMT. Those are the four that effected me the most.

then maybe i have a bit of a veil too. it feels like i sometimes confuse my thoughts for actual things spoken to me and vice versa. this rarely happens though.

I have to admit...

When I was experimenting with psychedelics I was extremely afraid of the conatations that I knew would come along with them but that fear has subsided now and I am able to live a normal every day life, even though I still notice the side-effects day-to-day. However, it is mildly hard to deal with the fact that my conciousness may not be as keen as the others I am around every day. Sometimes I feel as if I am "slipping away", but that may be due to the dissociatives that I have injested.

"Perma-tripping" is more of a different perspective on life than actually tripping constantly. I'd say I'm on a permanant trip, because I can still look at things as if I were tripping.

HPPD, however, is a real condition. This usually comes with binges of hallucinogens, but goes away with time. It's almost completely visual, and usually very minor.

you could argue whether the state of 'tripping' is how you internally view things or how they happen to appear to you. you could be actually hallucinating things, or you could be merely analyzing things from a 'trip-perspective'... or are those things the same? is perma-tripping an induced mentality or a physical chemical side effect? or a bit of both? if tripping is half mental, half chemical, then we are all sometimes perma-tripping a little bit... or at least potentially... whoa.

Once you've opened your mind I'd say your somewhat permanently tripping. Being free of the false beliefs of society, religion, government, etc... is SOOOOOOOO liberating

Lingering physical effects I have from my peyote and HWBR experiences are that if I look at a wall or towel for 2 seconds or longer, it'll start to move and swirl all about It's pretty sweet. Sometimes it works with the clouds, but not as strongly, I think it's because they're so bright
