Ghost

I have had a long childhood full of ghost. I would see them and hear them. My question is , from an LSD users standpoint do you think "ghost" exist? Please Explain why or why not

Ghost or ghosts ?
If it is just one ghost, whatever
If more than run and hide

what does this have anything 2 do with lsd???

i been afraid of my own shadow since i was a small child. come to find out its just noise you play in your head because you're very sensitive to silence, darkness, and aloneness.

i guess ghost are absence of life, but inyet they have life? Now what does LSD have to do with life? Plus im just asking what you think. is there life after death? Do O.B,E's really exist or are they hallucinations

Im going to have to say I do not think ghosts exist here on earth. There is no reason for ghosts to exist.

hallucination is just seeing things. your whole life is a hallucination, everything you see is just what you see. have you ever had an O.B.E.? or what you perceived as one?

as far as life after death, i have a sober tendency to think "no experiencer=no experience", but then again, on high doses of psychedelics i have lost the experiencer but still retained experience.

what exactly does ghost mean to you?

I think I saw and hung out with for a while a good friend who died while I was on acid.It was during a Jerry show and she suddenly appeared next to me and we talked and everything,hung out for awhile and then she said she had to go now and just dissapeared,It was really weird but very cool .

LSD gives you flashbacks which can seem like ghosts. The only real flashback I've had from LSD was when I was on vacationing with my family in England. We were staying at a hotel and my sister and I were sharing the same room. I was in the shower and I thought I saw my sister in a bathrobe and a towel on her head open the door and enter the bathroom. I knew I had locked the door and it was very eerie and my skin crawled, but no one had opened the door..it was just an illusion.

There are no ghosts, there are only tricks of the mind.

what yellowcab said also reminded me of reports of people being visited by old friends/relatives while on datura.

i think it all goes back to the same basic idea: it's all in your head. all of your capacities to recognize and understand and "see" are based on what you're absorbing from the outside world, but the final product that you recognize as experience is all in your head.
