love the thrift store----now i have the theme song for the lite brite commercial stuck in my head-lol----to above i cry when i think about my old leathers jacket and vest--stolen from my van----amazing how attached you can get to some clothing thats been through hell and back with you-----my new leathers just arent the same---waaah

What the hell is with your thrift stores?

I've never been refused a sale here. When something doesn't have a price tag they usually give it to me at a ridiculously low estimate of what it might cost if it did. They're thrift stores, not freaking tyrannical corporations.

Thrift stores and vintage stores are abundant here but I still prefer ebay, for the most part, if I want to do serious vintage shopping.

I am a lanky 1000 year old giant. Ebay is impossible for me.

muahahaha! that is awesome. you should grow a humongous beard. there's this guy who works in the student store at my school, he has a huge beard and i want to jump in it. beards. are. sex.

I need to take a stealth pic of guy at student store... this is truly a beard worth noting. I have managed to get him thinking I am "cool" though so I must be very discreet at risk of blowing my "cool" persona and entering the "creeper" category.

I think I need to buy pencils today....

Yeah, you're totally right there. The beard does seem to attract those beautiful, free-spirited arty girls with lesbian haircuts and pale european skin. <3 I probably should grow it back.

Ha ha, well, I've had two separate girls at two different times in my life come into my workplace repeatedly, stare at me from a distant place in the store and not buy anything (that's it though, in my whole life). It was really flattering.

I actually know a guy that comes into one of the stores I merchandise that looks frighteningly like Matt (Pressed Rat) and I'm desperate to get a photo. I'm going to have to do the whole 'pretending to send a text message' thing while walking past him.

I love thrift stores. I don't understand this refusal to sell stuff...if it has been put on the shelves, it is for sale.
Death should complain to the store manager. It is still a store with store polcies...
