I vote for PCP. Is that still around? They used to call it 'angel dust'.

I've experienced terror on a massive dose of DMT(my first time), and on high doses of synthetic cannabinoids.
Otherwise I can't think of any psychedelic which has caused me to feel terror, with the exception of a brief period during my first 25i-nbome trip where I began to worry about a certain issue and it made me feel very on edge, not particularly terrified though.
I am a bit terrified of the potential for other people who are tripping to lose control, as I've experienced it multiple times from two different people.

A friend of mine did DMT and salvia along with some type of pain killer that intensifies trips I think, I forgot what it's called. Anyway I don't remember how he managed to smoke salvia and DMT in the same trip, because I was on DMT myself when he did it. My trip stopped and my friend is just rolling on the ground sobbing, and I try to get him to acknowledge me to calm him down (silly me). He just starred into my eyes frightened and confused and then went back to rolling on the ground sobbing. After about 8 minutes he was able to speak, but was still frightened. He mentioned that in his trip he was being punished by a goddess type entity for abusing the psychedelic drugs. When he came out of the trip completely he was afraid he would feel insane forever because a portal/door had been opened in the back of his mind and he could feel it. He asked me if I could take him to a mirror so he could see that he was okay.

None of the psychedelics I've tried is inherently terrifying. It's the situation in which you find yourself, assuming you're not overdosing or anything, that could obviously be terrifying.

I only did nutmeg a few times and I always had good experiences with it. It's a pain in the ass to grind them up and choke it down, and it's hard to determine what I'm going to be doing in five or more hours so I can take it ahead of time because it takes so long to kick in. Just not worth it.
But I suppose the most terrifying experience I ever had was when I took 650 mgs of DXM and had such an insane trip where I was going back and forth from thinking "I'm going to die, aren't I? No, I don't think I am...no I definitely am dying." and just staring into space wide eyed for hours. I never take that much anymore.

Sticking my head out of a high speed train in Japan while twisted on 5meo-dmt wasnt terrifying, and the.bong hits of salvia were fun too.
On lsd one time i twisted my knee hiking and totally saw the bone sticking out of my jeans and felt the hot blood running on me, i asked my buddy if he saw it too, and when said he did not- i trusted him and hobbled back to the road with his help. Fear yes terror no.
Methadone is more terrifying than any psychedelic.
Not only does the drug own you- the govt owns you.

word, same here, cannabis is a double edged sword, its golden and so useful if you do it mild or don't over-do it.
then again taking too much herbal incense and being ( in 3rd person ) a man in a skyscraper during the end of the world is pretty awful too. and yet, the herbal incense is great for a lot of things at the right dose, cures depression and anxiety and makes one loving and kind, but still, it can be pretty terrifying if over-done
this is why prohibition = all the problems we have with drugs. its not drugs, its prohibition and the lack of proper education ,
for example with legal lsd you can take 5 ug, then a few days later, 15, and etc, and if you like it, you can learn to swim, drugs have tremendous positive uses, at least, the entheogenic kind.
Oh, how about ALCOHOL , maybe terrifying is not the right word, but horrible nightmare, yes. now that's pure evil if you ask me.

Oh, cannabis can be very psychedelic, and for some, very scary. Nevertheless, a cannabis overdose is a very pleasant way to go to bed.

Very high doses of mushrooms have terrified me, once with an RC I assumed to be LSD (although this was just funky, rather than purely spiritual/emotional, assumed overdose), and once somewhere after my 50th DMT trip the stuff finally turned on me. It's truly amazing how differently we all respond to these chemicals; I would go so far as to say that even despite the few moments in which my life was actually threatened, I would not know the meaning of the word terror had it not been for mushrooms. I've always been very thankful that I seem to either be predisposed to ride the visionary thing out without moving (playing dead, lol) or blessed, because I've seen countless people snap and run for their lives, and I certainly understand why.
