The industry or the quality?

The second's damned wrong -- but the first is kinda too.

There was a huge boom in the 80s, and popularity started waning in the 90s, probably hitting new lows just a few years ago; but all the comic book adaptations are bringing business back. And DC especially has had a huge readership boost lately.
