When Ronnie Raygun took office, the national debt was less than one trillion dollars. He promised to balance the budget in his first four years as POTUS. He never submitted one single balanced budget in his eight years. When he left office the national debt was $2.5 trillion, almost tripled the debt.
Shrub daddy almost doubled the national debt again in only four years, to $4.5 trillion.
Clinton only added one trillion to $5.5 trillion in his eight years. But also balanced the budget and left office with a $300 billion annual surplus.
Shrub Jr. turned that $300 billion surplus into a $300 billion deficit in only six months, and doubled the national debt again adding over $6 trillion, to almost $12 trillion. More than all the presidents added together.
Obama has added almost $4 trillion, mostly cleaning up the economic collapse that Shrub Jr. left him with.
But the worst has to be Lincoln. He started the civil war that killed 750,000 Americans.

That's idiotic. He didn't start it. He did everything he could to prevent it. Lincoln was one of our greatest Presidents.

Want to see idiotic and stupid, look in the mirror. The south was going to secede from the union, and as always, the republicans forced their ideology on the confederates, for the profit of the rich. The rich corporations in the north were making all the profits, by producing the finished products that were made from the raw materials that the south grew. So the south decided to secede and make their own factories. But the greedy republicans weren't going to let that happen, even at the expense of 750,000 American lives. Lincoln was a bigot that wanted to deport all the blacks after the war. The war wasn't about freeing the slaves, it was about profit for the rich. He was also a homosexual that slept with a military officer in the White House. Not that there's anything wrong with being a homo, it's just another example of republican hypocrisy. He was also an atheist. He wrote a paper denouncing God, but was told that if he published it, it would ruin his political career. History books are written by the victors of wars. History is always told from their perspective, which usually isn't the truth. For instance, when the Catholic church used to tell everyone the world was flat, and burned people at the stake as heretics for saying otherwise. So stop believing the world is flat.
