In either case- the whole "I'm not going to call if he won't" is just plain retarded. Grow up and if you are interested- pick up the phone and call.

^^ i agree. if you really like the person, call them. you have nothing to lose and possibly much to gain. plus, life is too short to fret about reasons why he didn't call. just do it, or don't, but then stop thinking about it.

Me personally I'd call back but i guess others would just be ignorant and rude.
Even if I didn't fancy her if we got on well then what's wrong with having another friend? Then again it could be a genuine reason like he may have lost his phone or something serious could of come up. Hope u aint being messed about! But if he was into you, he would of called, trust me!

it's different many guys have many different reasons not to. I never called a girl back.. quickly, it would only be when I am single, or if taken in a polygamous relation, swing relation or other etc etc, anyways I'd not call her back if I really like her, if she calls me, 3-5 days later I'm extremely happy. But if you don't call there is a chance I'll call 5 weeks later to say "hey remember that time we had, was fun maybe we'd do it againn sometime soon, what do you think?" ----- "yeah? alright it's a date then!" where you think it's a date without it being officially a date to sneak it in there to make the night more open to possibilities

Their is no point in speculating on why someone doesn't call you back, if it bothers you that much then go ahead and ask. It could be so many reasons for him not to call you. Maybe he has a gf he is rocky with? Maybe he found another girl? Prior engagment? Lost interest afterwards? Is shy? Who's really to say?
