I try to calorie budget for mine, but it's difficult, because it's usually pretty calorie-intensive. Also, you can hardly ever tell when you're going to really need it. Usually it's some kind of ramen for me. Or mashed potatoes. I've tried to get into pureed soups that incorporate potato, but also have some other veggies in it so it's healthier, but still satisfies the potato craving. It's so hard to balance what you should eat with what you want to eat. I'll never be a cold veggie-plate girl.
