one of my favorite thoughts, wa, is that we ALL live on top of those who came before us...literally. the dirt 'used to b e us and all we share the planet with'.
they do-the rulers-live on the backs of the common man in a figurative sense...they don't deserve or have a right to all the money they get in taxes or business deals. no man is worth what some ceos get paid. however, watching a documentary on the return of wolves to yellowstone, some broad thinker discovered that 'removing the wolves allowed the elk to reproduce at too great a rate, which meant that underbrush and forests were overgrazed over time, which cuased erosion, micro climate change and redistribution of species'. when i applied this thinking to 'what would happen if we desroyed all the genetics of the human predators, i got a lot of scenarios that had parallels to that situation....the law of unintended consequences ran rampant...the experiment we all live in took strange turns.
try running that thought line 'out', and see the many possibilities...if we had no madoffs, no predatory politicians, no one striving to get ahead of everyone else, what would happen? even apply it to medicine...if we had no diseases, and everyone born lived to the maximum limit of their genes...the baby boom generation is creating all kinds of economic worry...what would we have if every generation was large in number and lived to an old age? it's an interesting thought path....
if we saw EVERYTHING the rulers do...all the way to them taking a dump...what would we do about it? the same thing we do about them stealing from us now? that makes me laugh...
jesus...i'm rambling tonight...sorry...way off topic. kinda. typical of me.
