google is your best friend, as is your local borders/barnes & nobles which should have several books about growing (
this is a great book). cruise around other forums like grasscity or icmag for more information (this one is useless for growing advice). growing weed isn't rocket science, but, as you seem to know, it does require some background knowledge.

ps- make sure you find a really good spot to grow outdoors, far away from any people, trails, roads, etc. growing outside is risky, so take all necessary precautions.
