"Earning your red wings" is having sex with a woman while she is having her periods. I think it is an old Hells Angels thing. They also used to have others such as "Black wings" which can be either having oral sex with a black woman or having sex with a dead woman. And "Blue wings" which was having oral sex with a female police officer, usually against her will. And before someone asks, yes, I do have my "red wings"

With the San Antonio Banditos, it was a biker thing not just a HA thing and I wore mine proudly.

There are more of them but I cant remember. In a tarentino flick called "Hell Ride" there is a character called Billy Wings. He earned all of the wings and had them tattooed for memory.

In this scene he explains his tatts to a stripper, but I can't find the part about the wings. It's a good biker movie I highly reccomend it.
