Having multiple accents

I was watching this British film clip and was thinking how awesome that accent is. That would be cool if like every year you got a different accent. Obviously that would be better if you could speak different languages, but for my example you just speak one language (say English) but every year you have a different accent. Like one year it's californian, the next it's a new york accent, the next Texan, New Jersey, British, Australian, etc.

i always thought it would be cool to have audiobooks or just cds of talking in an accent, enough for someone to naturally just start talking like it. or if tv somehow was like that it could be so cool! I know I start thinking in an accent when i watch anything in a different accent and i love it.

I wish i had more, I just have an overactive mind and a weird way of thinking. I thought of this while studying for an exam.

When I was at school, I would spend a lot of time learning other languages and accents
But, now it is great going abroad and being to speak well.

man, i moved a lot and learning the local accent, while maintaining your own original accent was an easy way to blend into the background, which i preferred. if you allow your language to be influenced but not patronizingly altered by the local accents, people tend to relax a little.

I have twi accents, sort of. I can sound English (not American TV english, proper English ), and I have my natural southern Wales accent- so I have Cardiffian phrasing.
It's all because I lived in England for a small while, you can pick up things from where you live. My American friend who moved to Wales sounds so funny now, because after many years the two are starting to meld together and it sounds so very odd
