Where did you go barefoot today? (2)

I don't know why the other "Where did you go barefoot today?" thread got closed, if this one is out of line for some reason, feel free to close it as well.
Yesterday I went for a drive (barefoot, of course!) out to the edge of town, parked, and walked along the side of the highway. Probably walked for an hour or more, I went around the block, but out here "around the block" takes slightly longer than it does in the city haha.

After all the intense sole-searing heat, I walked merrily barefoot the 3 blocks from the parking lot to my office building. Barefoot in the cool morning! GOD I LOVE IT

I went shopping to a local Dollar General store, I couldn't believe how dirty their floors are! It was hot outside and the cool tile would have been more refreshing had it not been for all the grit I could feel under my soles. Interestingly enough I ran into the manager there who I worked with 9 years ago we carried on a long conversation he never mentioned by bare soles he never even gave the LOOK. I then went to the Post Office and after that to the university library. Now wonder why I've been so nervous to go bare all the time.

Walking downtown with my son yesterday, both barefoot. Only a few looks and no comments from passers-by, but I swear every single driver almost got whiplash from staring at us haha.

The more stores you do and the more often you leave the house without emergency footwear backups, the easier it gets.

Went into a restaurant for the first time BF last night. Granted it was only a fast food joint and I was just grabbing a to go order, but I didn't notice anybody giving me funny looks, no comments or anything. Really the only people who saw me were the lady taking my order and 2 other ladies after me placing an order. But oh well, another victory!
Does anyone have places they do NOT want to go barefoot? Any kind of public restroom is kind of a no-go for me. I can't bring myself to walk on those floors haha.

threads are generally closed after 1000 posts...some sections more than others..it has something to do with server load or some other technical crap
generally the personal forums ..UK section and less used areas are left alone
It wasnt me but I would bet that was the reason

Could be, but I noticed yesterday that this thread was closed as well for some reason. Then it was unlocked again today.
Anyway, went to the park on the other side of town today with my son. Great walk there and back!

I also went to the park with my 19-month old (today!) son. I pushed him in the stroller and we were both barefoot. This was actually my first walk both to/from and in the park. Unfortunately it's mostly pavement (asphalt) between our house and the playground, so I had to push the stroller on the grass most of the way. It was much easier on the feet, but hard as hell pushing the stroller on the uneven surfaces.
Couple pics of his feet and mine. I think it must have tickled cuz he was giggling when I was taking the pic.

to the mailbox. I tried.
I love going barefoot and all but the mailbox was as far as I ventured today with or without shoes.
