Here ya go Nolan:
Go to a local sporting goods store to-day and buy a trail guide to trails in the Nat'l forest nearest to where you live.
Get yourself a backpack, hiking boots and the "10 Essentials" (the trail guide will list them).
Ride your bike/bus to the woods and hit the trails.
Hike in a few miles and then start to look around off the trail, looking for a clearing (don't get lost!).
When you find one, bring out potting soil, a pick and a shovel, dig holes 3' x 3', fill with potting soil. Plant your seeds.
They need water every 3 days. If it doesn't rain you must bring it to them. This can be hard work because a plant in full flower can drink over a gal. of water every week, and water weighs over 8 lbs a gallon, so you'll want to plant near a water source like a stream.
The rewards:
How about 4 or more ounces of phat sticky buds per plant (my record in just shy of 2 lbs per plant but that takes years of experience). Worth it?
Anyway, that's what I did for over 20 years, and grew over 100 lbs. total.

Don't waste time. Pot is an annual, which means the time to plant seeds for a harvest outside this years is almost gone.

P.S. don't forget your fishing pole.

k, not great growing anything in wyoming, unpredictable weather and often cold, under 50 shocks the plants right? well they wouldent survive I think, what was the climate like where u did this?
Also any ntl forests around here arent heavily forested and not at all close by, mostly rolling hills for at least twenty miles and no busses go that far. it would seem suspicios to bike twenty miles weekly w/ gallons of watter.
How does it grow in grassland setting w/ lots of wind? I guessing not well.
Thanks for your help ranger.:)

Some places on earth aren't suitable for growing marijuna, Wy. may be one.
That leaves indoors, but your not old enough to grow inside yet.
It's nearly impossible to grow pot inside without everyone else who lives there finding out about it.
Plus, growing pot in someone's house without their knowledge/permission is bad karma, since they are responsible for what goes on there.
Nolan, I admire your energy and thirst for knowledge. I think you have a bright future ahead of you.
But accept that some things you shouldn't do til your older.
If you want to grow inside, get a job and get your own place.

grow in holes about three four feet deep and wide ;)
Or hollow out a bush somewhere and grow underneath it (leave thin cover the sun penetrates).

what is the smallest possible area to grow pot? large box?

How do you figure I have a bright future?
Most folks your age see my age and these threads and say Im future fucked, for interest in pot

I think you have a bright future because you're inquizitive. You don't just want to know the answer to a Q, you also want to know why.

Please Nolan, don't jeapordize your families freedom by growing pot at home.

Being your age at one time myself, I understand your impatience.
But you have some growing up to do first before you embark on a criminal enterprize.

I won't give you any indoor growing advice.

P.S. don't grow in a hole or under bushes. Marijuana plants grow 6'--12' tall before the buds are ready, and they need full sun.

You know, if you just want the money, put some soil and a seed in a pudding cup, and grow it until it just pops out a shoot, and then sell it to someone else...it works nice just cause you've already done the hard part...or so they think...now they get the job of finding a place, and transplanting it :)

Paying money for a seedling in a pudding cup? Who are you selling to, 4th-graders?
