First time grower by accident

My boyfriend and I have a 5 Gallon bucket outside of our house that we use mostly for cigarette butts. We occasionally throw seeds and stems in the bucket when rolling up. Recently many weeds began to grow in the bucket after pulling some weeds out we found a cute little plant. Not being experienced in growing we have just left it there but its time to transplant it. I am not sure how to do it but I am starting to see that its becoming not healthy. I believe that a ciggarette butt has burned the stem a little bit!!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME TO SAVE MY FIRST PLANT AND SOON!!!!!!

First of all, do you even know if the plant is marijuana? Does it have serrated-edged leaves, with an uneven number of leaf "fingers"?
Secondly, marijuana can grow fine in a 5 gal bucket for it's entire life (if the container is filled with soil). If so, drill some holes in the sides of the bucket near the bottom for drainage and be sure to feed it.
If you need to transplant, use a slightly larger bucket and quality potting soil and be careful/gentle.
You won't be able to tell it's sex for positive until it starts to flower (late Aug./early Sept.) Flowering takes 2 months.
Make sure it gets plenty of light.
