My sis's friend sells weed... the other night he got busted with weed brownies. The cops took them and weighed them, came out to 12 pounds of brownies (which had an ounce or so of weed). The way they see it, thats 12 pounds of WEED!!! So he could be goin to prison for 30 years! Hes got an attourny to help appeal it, either way hes goin down, but 5-6 years at most, versus 30 years is a big difference. We are talkin about a pound-in-the-ass prison too... share what you think about this pile of shit...

When Ronald Reagan died, I did not shed a tear. His increased asnine "war on drugs" led to this complete and utter bullshit with states following suit with their harsher penalties and mandatory minumum sentences to "lock up the druggies and drug dealers poisioning our youth". I don't like crucifying the dead, (lol) but he was a horrible overrated president that is on par with our current dictator. Blame him. If you want, you can also blame the republican party if you wish, they have the same exact agenda.
And yes, I believe it is complete and utter bullshit. Read Reefer Madness and you will see some more examples of this tyranny of our will of what we can or cant do to our bodies.

and anyway, it could be worse- a kid got busted for giving pot brownies to elementary kids around here. They didn't even know what they were. He got some serious jail time...

actually, lincoln was one of the bigger dickwads we've had as president. He suspended the bill of rights for the duration of the war, and even imprisoned representatives from the southern states to ensure there was no question of peace talks, he wanted to crush the south. Also, he was quoted as to sayign something along the lines of "if there were any way to win this war without freeing the slaves i would." And washington was a federalist, a party that favored no bill of rights whatsoever. Jefferson was excellent though.

1. lincoln wanted to get the southern states back into the union as easily as possible. you took that quote out of context, he said that if he could merge the union and the confederacy without having to free the slaves, he would do it, and if he had to free the slaves to merge the union and the confederacy, he would do it.
he wasnt against or for slavery, he just wanted the nation back together.

I love watching those busts on tv where they pull up a few plants by the roots and weigh the whole fucking thing, roots, dirt, and all. And then they say something like, "local authorities today seized twelve pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of over thirty million dollars." On what planet, even diming the shit out, is twelve pounds of pot worth thirty million bucks? I think they come up with crazy inflated estimates to make it look like a bigger bust; 30 million sounds alot better than 30 thousand. Cops suck.

Exactly. As I've been trying to tell people, Reagan wanted the government to run like a profit making business, and that's exactly what it's doing. State and local governments now get huge subsidies from the federal government for each person they incarcerate that is actually a financial incentive for them to put people in jail-and many prisons are now privatized-all of this translates into a monetary incentive to keep people locked away in prisons. It is really an evil agenda. So much for our 'freedoms'. All this crap about America being the 'freest country on earth'. What an inane bunch of hogwash.
