I wasn't sure whether to put this in this forum, books, or in WIF. I decided to put it here.

This is written by Cynthia Palmer and Micheal Horowitz. A tretise on "Women Writing on the Drug Experience" with life stories and excerpts from everyone from Louisa May Alcott, and her experiments with Cannabis candy and Laudanum, to Charlotte Bronte, one of the many opiate using Victorian womyn, to Billie Holliday and her percecution from Law Inforcement for her use of Heroin and Weed, to Diane Di Prima, Carrie Fisher, Ellen Sander (LSD) Anita Hoffman, and she and her dh Abbie sending out thousands of joints and instructions on how to use them to politicians and housewives, on Halloween 1969, to Brownie Mary, to some of the earliest experiences with Therapy with MDMA (Anna Shulgin) and other RCs.

Wonderfully readable, nonjudgemental of drug use, and really informative. A good read, if you like books about the Drug Experience.
