do you just not comb/wash your hair and they come? how long on average does it take

if u have napy ass hair that might work in like 3 or 4+ years, go to a hair stylist and they will tell you what to do, chances are they will give you twist first then u keep going back every 2 weeks or so to get it retwisted, after a 2-6 months they will lock then u can start washing them and what not, (mine locked in 2 months but i have napy hair). u may have to go back 1 a month after they lock to roll some of the newgrowth. if u have any questions e-mail me at snowslaze63@snowboard.com

you can and should wash your hair...just dont comb it and give it at least 2 years

dude checkout the dreadlock area of this forum in fashions n crafts, click on related forums.
It has all the info you will want on dreads, starting them up,
either natural, backcombed, however there is alota info for anyone interested in locking up.
