Like a fly to a buzzing light
With your arm draped around me
We need not speak

As a rush of excitement
Jolts through my head
My pulsating flesh
Doesn't stop for a rest
My heart's lost in temptation

My mind drifts away
But my hearts anchored firm
One embraces you freely
But the other's unsure
Just minutes ago
My world was so gray
And I don't want to spend
This moment away.

God's hand painted
A twilit sky
Rays of pink and baby blue
Catch my wandering eye
It seems the sky
Was there for you and I
And my eyes gently closed
As we drifted by
Some say it's love
Call it what you may
But I don't want to spend
This moment away.

Thats a lovely poem MJ. The poem is very romantic but the first two lines just don't seem to fit into the same romanticism. Otherwise a beautiful poem but. :)
