I have noticed it. Maybe they want us to know how cool they are to smoke. Seriously, I have two nieces (17 and 19) that have taken up smoking. I just want to shake them. Their mom smokes and is always hacking up a lung. You would think they could see what it's doing to her. It was so hard for me to quit, I hate to have them go through that (or worse). Is it really still cool for kids to smoke? Sad.

it was never cool to smoke. it has always been a dead-giveaway for low self-esteem. the very fact that smokers generally just throw their still burning butts where ever is most convenient show a lack of respect for themselves and their world. this is low self esteem.
