I'm running out of space on the "veg" side of things. My Afgani is 6+ weeks old (from seed)...but not too terribly tall (maybe 1 to 2 feet)...and I'm not going to clone it.
So is it acceptable to move them into the flower cycle with only 6+ weeks of growth?
And do people post pics on this site safely?
Tks

You can place a plant in flower at anytime, recommended is 4-6 weeks veg for afghani.Keep in mind that plants can double in size when placed in flower.

Thanks guys... That will free-up some much needed room.
And as to the height problem, if you read another post of mine I've got a hell of a problem. The MONSTER Northern Light "mama" has continued to defy gravity and is nearing 60" on only 11 weeks. Now the darn thing is within 7 inches of the rim on my 1000hps...fortunately on a light mover...but the light has no more "up" space to pull.
So...no my dilemma is what to do with her? Can I move her off to the side?

Bend it over with some twine,a little at a time. This will get you some light distance back.

Funny you say that meangreen, I just tied that nlkush to the ground the other day. I used a stick and some twine. She was waist high to me, and im 6-2!
In fact i staked and tied a gang of the "in the ground" plants in my greenhouse. Im opting for a fence and dog- the greenhouse is roofless now anyways, because it was too humid in there.
Which of course gave me a 10x20 outdoor plot.
I am shutting off my lights and running plants into and out of the room at 6AM/pm every day.
Actually, i might leave on the lights until 9 or 10. So from 6 am to 9 am they will be under 2200 watts. Then out they go until 6 at night...

Thanks Meangreen... I guess I'll lightly try to pull the center cola over, the others are splayed outwards anyway. I might grasp another 5" by removing the brackets that hang the light and just bolt it to the mover.
Somehow I don't remember Northern Light being listed as a 6'+ plant...ha.
Damn this thing's a monster....(do people actually post pics safely?)
