i live in california (thank god) where it's legal to grow/use for medicinal purposes, so i've been growing for a few years outdoors with excellent results. this year, something i've never seen before has occured. my new seedlings (cloned females from the pot store) are in the ground in a greenhouse.. about 1 foot high on their 4th-5th sets of leaves... they have all started budding in the primary stalk. i've never seen this in plants this young.. is this a good or bad thing? i'm concerned, because right now all their energy should be going to growth, not budding. they're are all healthy, in miracle gro soil in the ground... this is the first time i've used a greenhouse, and our weather is very odd this year.. long cool rainy winter when normally should be dry and warm by now.i pinched the buds off, as i would nromally pinch primary stalks at this stage... anyone have any idea why this is happening? will it affect growth or future budding negatively? help!
