If you are going to prepare the outdoor soil with potting soil or fertilizers, do this between early March - Mid April, plant the seeds in early April - early May. Male plants will begin to produce pollen as early as mid July, you should harvest the plants between september and october. grasslands that have small trees and bushes always make nice growing locations, make sure the plants get a lot of light and that no one is going to find them.

You can plant as late as July 1.
The plants won't be very big, but something is better than nothing.
They need water every 2--4 days. If it doesn't rain, you have to haul it out there yourself.
They will need nutrients. You can get something good at a grow shop, Peter's 20-20-20 will get you by if can't get the good stuff.
The plants will be ready to harvest in mid-Oct., when 75% of the bud hairs turn from clear/milky to red/brown.
