..do you suppose that astral projection is just a mutation of the Pain reflex?

..or is it the other way around?

Ow!
I was reading last night, and the author was pointing out that even though science says that everything that we see or feel, happens in the brain... none of the studies can explain why pain feels like it's at the point of...er pain or why the rock appears to be on the ground next to my toe.

...are you serious? Mebbe I don't understand...
Are'nt there bundles and bundles of nerve endings and cause and affect involved?

He was making the point that all the interpretation takes place in the brain, the pain exists only as an interpretation of energy pulses in the brain. So in order for pain to feel to be somewhere else, the brain has to project it's perceptions. Or another way to look at it, there is no out there..
...... and astral projection would be along the same lines. I think
;)

:D
Something on perception ..... Called (I think) the Feeling of Someone Staring..... or something like that
We keep running into this duality of the universe idea..
The 3d, causall, linear, time thing...
which is but an element of the eternal now, where everything that has, will or could happen exists simultaneously as an energy vibration the wordless relm
We are all one
Be Here now

Soon as I started reading this, I thought of the Kei (sp), the yell associated with martial arts. As best as I can remember (it's been a looooong time since I practiced karate), the kei (Gill if you read please correct my spelling and clear up any errors) comes from your center, focusing a great deal of your energy outward at the moment you make contact with an opponent or an object or at the moment an opponent or object makes contact with you. The intent is that the energy, while flowing out from your center, hardens your body so it can resist harm from the contact. Perhaps this is a form of astral projection? It certainly is projection. Maybe it's martial projection.

...haven't we moved on to eleven dimensions yet?
Four exploded outward, six compacticated...yes it's a word.
*bangs head on rock to feel projected pain*

Wain' for bus #99
goin' to the store for hot dogs and wine!
When all of a sudden, I felt real cold
And wound up in the body of a big ol' UFO
On the bus, to the plane
To the UFO and to outer space baby
On the bus, to the plane, baby yeah
Take me away
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean
Is that you Mo-Dean?
On a UFO
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean
The interdimensional outer space being
Movin' through the spheres, faster than light
On our way to some planets that were outta sight
We said space driver, give it a spin
And take us to some places we ain't never been
On the bus, to another plane
To the UFO and outer space baby
On the bus, to the plane, baby yeah!
Take me away
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean
Is that you Mo-Dean?
On a UFO
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean
The interdimensional outer space being
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean!
I say at which depot do we depart from his UFO?
Well it had been 987 years in outer space time when I got back
Couldn't seem to find any of my friends to tell my intersting stories to
Past life
On the bus, to the plane
To the UFO and outer space baby
On the bus, to the plane
Baby yeah!
Take me away
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean
Is that you Mo-Dean?
On a UFO
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean
The interdimensional outer space being
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It's me Mo-Dean

Sorry, that song always pops into my head when I see that term :D
I used to play the B52's while driving the motorhome around......for some reason or another......
Isn't it just another name for OBE's or dream travel?

It's like having our own personal shaman:) he says the most think inducing things.
...and we are just getting going too as far as our potential is concerned right?
What made you dig this one up Andy? I thought I was the only one that read back in here.

~wanders off pondering~Projecting from your navel is very dangerous,
always exit via the top of the head or the brow
that way you don't enter a negative state....

When don Genero was 'climbing' the waterfall he was using energy from his abdomen was'nt he? It kinda projected out and clung to things like an invisable octopus of sorts...unless you can see that kinda thing.
Wish I could shake off the filters that keep me from realising how the folding works.

Indeed... was it the last mimzy or something that had that energy psychoplasm from the abdomen; our intention is very powerful; astral projection is the light body leaving from the physical & where on the band of emanations do you wish to enter?
It is all the Eagle; except when you exit above the gravitational pull... i.e. 3rd eye +
