Here is where i leave myself,
Departure under the gaze
Of the Victorian dream.
Iron and machinery,
Black and cold,
But still i remember Paddington
with such sweet memory.

Doesn't seem to be much happening round here these days....
I wrote something similar about Waterloo once. It was self-indulgent and over-elaborate though - lacked the finesse of yours!

when you say paddington... i know you don't mean it this way.... but i can't help think of the little stuffed animated bear... maybe you know what i am talking about... lol. it could fit quite nicely here, really. a departure from innocence, lamented.
much love :)

Is there still a Paddington Bear there? I haven't been for ages - there used to be case with him in and his forlorn little note...please look after this bear...
I don't like Paddington station very much...can never find my way around...
