Not one of my best but still another from me:
Once upon a time I had a dream
A dream unlike any other
I dreamed at last there were no more wars
That we all were sister and brother
I dreamed materialism was no more
And we all lived for each other
Dominated by love and selflessness
Giving freely of ourselves to one another
But then I emerged from the sleep state
In my bed under the covers
And saw that it was all a dream
But how I wish it was something other
And how I longed, from that day on
For it not to to be a dream but something other
How long will it be 'til in reality
We will finally love one another?
