It tried for years to be true,
it tried through tears between me, and you,
but!, comes a time, begining, or end,
your as some one I've never met, not a lover, but a true friend,
I tried for seasons to make you happy if just for a while,
I'd of waited a life time to see you smile,
you have been in places I cannot see, I'd even trade places
with you if this could be, I have no words, or tangible nostalgia
as a reminder while we're apart, I can only offer a friendship
from the depts of my heart.....
