along with some carrots and morning glories to hide them. They were mowed unknowingly by my father, but I found a few weeks ago that the carrots have started to grow this spring...........
Could there be a chance that my weed is still out there, too?

Yeah, they're annual plants but just like wildflowers, they can grow again the next year if they made seeds.

If there is only a stump left, kiss them goodbye.
If there is any sort of veg growth they could be
made to come back to life.

a 6 feet tall weedplant is not easily camouflaged by a bunch of carrots so i'm afraid your dad did mow them before they even had the chance to start flowering so there's absolutely no chance they formed any seed :(
