Well, I finished my exam with flying colors thanks to BlackBillBlake's awesome advice and linkage help! Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone here would like to discuss the Platonic Forms(the Idea, and the Logos - perceptual world) and how they exist in the world today. My understanding of these forms has inspired me quite deeply, mainly because it makes more sense than modern science (which is completely too anti-spiritual) and they can be seen in nearly every aspect of day to day life. One only has to look, in order to see the evidence of the great Form of the Good, or the One (like the Matrix... kinda), and it is from that Perfect Form of Idea, that all good things emanate and spread light throughout the world. Anyone else got any insight, suggestions... rants about my interpretation??? I'd love to get into a good discussion, mainly because I'm a nerd and I like to learn, and the only way to do that, sometimes, is to go out and make mistakes... lose a finger, a tooth, or get poked in the eye... (metaphorically speaking, that is... perhaps), and then learn from the experience. Is it better to have a terrible experience with something and live to tell the tail, rather than to have no experience at all? I would say that it is... so go ahead... shoot me down if you want, or continue on what I have started, and let's get some good old pagan philosophical discussion goin' on up in hey'ah!

Why don't you give us a quote from Plato then your interpertation?

Then we'll see what happens.

How about "the Good"? Tell us about it.
