Hi there :wave_slow
have just brought 2 new NFT systems am a first time grower using 3 400w lights
1 for in flowering
1 for on mothers
1 for on seedlings/clones

am growing in my loft space and have sorted plenty of ventilation with extractors however not sure what nutrients to use there are a few i'm looking at which would you guys recommend?

Ionic grow
bloom
boost

Canna aqua vega

GH flora gro
bloom

also i've brought one nft unit off ebay that has a sodium light that is missing a ballast and bulb am i right if i say the ballast dictates the wattage of the light and bulb and if i have a 400w i have to only have a 400w bulb?
Also my other light is a 400w and has a halide/sodium ballast i wanted to place a halide bulb in this for my seedlings cuttings can i do this?

Sorry to sound such a n00b but need the idiots guide only found this site after i got this lot and need a little help. :3: :)
Thanks

Anxies ;)

can't comment on any of those nutes listed, but i've used the b-cuzz stuff and have found it great - easy to use and seems to work fine, i've even messed up with the measurements before and the plants have been cool.

and yes - if you have a 400w ballast you will need a 400w bulb. on my light i can use either metal halide or sodium, so you might be alright but i wouldn't know for sure ... what make is it?
