Actually you can use any old lamp, they just won't grow very
well. I used to overwinter 1 or 2 females this way by leaving
them on a window ledge all day, then at night I put them under
a normal 100w bulb and they carried on growing. Come summer
I take off as many cuttings as I can ready to plant.

Do you have any fluorescent lights or lamps? Placing your plants under florescent light may help them survive for longer indoors. I'm not sure how well regular incandescent lights will work, though.

Yes power strip flourescent lights or the ones people use
in their aquariums are better still, by far.
A normal 100w bulb is a quick fix only and not effecient
at all. I just wanted to keep the plant ticking over and
barely alive and it worked fine for me.
