Browning leaves

My leaves on my plant have started to brown, from the tip inwards. Any ideas on how to stop this and keep it from happening again?

not sure why it happens

I cut off the brown area with scissors.
the cut bits will be effective when dried even though they went brown.

after the cutting the plant is fine.
