Teach me about the restraints and Yamma. I'm a buddhist and I'm specifically interested in how they relate to 8fold path.

Thankyou!

my freind will be doing a sermon on Ahimsa in a christian church next week. I should ask him to teach me, he studies a lot, mostly Kriya Yoga.

I don't see why you're asking here. But I have an interesting .pdf on the subject by a writer names Bulcsu Siklos, about Yama in Buddhism, Hinduism, Indo-Iranian religion, Zoroaster, and Norse Mythology.

Of course you are asking about the five yamas of Patanjali and you didn't want to know all this right? There's probably five thousand websites about Patanjali's Yoga Sutras.

As a Buddhist you should be asking more about Yamantaka, the death killer.
