It was a very beautiful drive back! Your advice was VERY well taken about driving the speed limit once I got near there. I didnīt end up arriving till around 1:30 am and was driving through all of these small towns called Christianburg,etc...everyone drives very slow in that whole area it seemed.
It was a pretty area, not a place Iīve ever been through before. I screwed myself by not having an atlas and using mapquest directions I didnīt check out before <i left. As i got close the directions got incredibly complicated and were leading down these one lane roads through the woods with deer being frozen in the headlights. I didnīt think a hotel would suddenly appear out nowhere and I knew i would get even more lost so I had to backtrack and get better directions.

Doh! Always gotta iron out the directions...how old are you???:p
We are up and runnig on auxillary power...damn spyware...

Know of any anti spyware for Macs?

It was getting really slow and then one day when ever I tried to get out of the forums the windows would just stay open and not do anything then finaly I had to restart it with all that stuff open...then the last straw was when WIndows tried to start up but there were fatal errors in the script or whatever it's called...had to go into dos and fix it...which is a very scarey place.
I was kinda generic when I said it died...and I did'nt know exactly what had caused it not to work when I first posted this thread just that it had all outward appearances of being dead. (I'm kinda computer illiterate ) See what happens when you(I) assume things??:D

Know of any anti spyware for Macs?nirgal, I'll ask my bud who recommended lavasoft's adaware to me. He's a Mac user.
I'll let you know what he uses.

Great, Macs used to be pretty much immune, but this OS10 is a different thing altogether
At least it's not a product from The Dark Side ;)

Away from the dark side you will stay. Dangerous it is. Not function well in the darkness, computers do. rrrrmm!

Yup, where he schools the evil Count Due-coo (sp). I like everything about that movie except the parts with Ani and the lurve-interest (can't remember her name right now). He comes off as such a whiney lil biotch. This is Darth Vader?

Does apple interact with sites on the web differently than the Evil Ones? Computer science just exploded and I have only begun to understand what goes on in there...
Are there just three basic types...that have to interact with each other? (The big M, Linux (sp?) and the Fruit)
What a huge thing to coordinate...

I'm not much better with comp stuff, at least the creations from the dark side. I have some in here, but I won't use it.....The fruit is now based on Linix ( I don't know what it means, but ti's a change :p ) I have always used a fruit of one type or another and all I can say about it is that I seldom have to do anything to it. It likes to be restarted every week or so and a couple of the programs need to be quit periodicaly. I like being able to just use it without knowing how it works :D
HoneySuckleBlue
06-08-2004, 12:28 AM
Huh...my computer teacher said she was all about the Linex...what if the evil ones get a govt. contract and develop (in conjunction with psychics) a program that will subconciously reprogram us...*shriek*
I have been feeling a little drained lately...
nirgal
06-08-2004, 12:35 AM
Yeah today was a low energy day.....
I figure it would be easier to reprogram everyone through the telly.... It works, look at mass consumer culture! for that matter a microchip could be inserted at anytime......
might be getting close to time to leave this mess.....

That low energy thing was me.:o I tapped into both serial and parallel universes and took the governors off of the transwarp inducers as well as retrofitted the collectors with heavy duty aluminum foil. Hey, I needed it, Okay! The thing with the cat - it drained me!! I used up a scoopful of angst visualizing Kung Pao kitty (knew I should have visualized Peking Cat - kitty just doesn't go with peanuts).
Alrighty then, I disconnected the transwarp inducers and shifted out of parallel - you should begin feeling revitalized in a short-short.
Sorry bout that.:sunglasse
