When the flowers go to seed????

When is the right time to scratch the pod. NEONJOINT.COM say when the flower goes to seed. What the heck does that mean? When the petals fall off?

Which are the best seeds to get? I have found Afgani High yeild seeds, Thai Opium white, China White, Turkish Opium Big pod seeds, and I just bought Persian whites. What would you guys suggest? Ohhh and they also have Gigantium Pod opium poppie seeds. Which would yeild the most??

the flower will turn into a seed pod. the petals will fall off and these green things hang there. you scrape them about 2 or three days after the petals fall off.
