heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy everyone. ol' ethan here.
i'm stuck =\. i am going to attend college in the fall, but dont know which college to choose. it's down to 2 choices....
FAU-florida atlantic university
&
FAUHC- florida atlantic university's honors college
the honors college really wants me. they said their going to give me full scholarship, which will even cover my dorms.
FAU is also offering me full scholarship, but i wont be living on campus. me and my friend (best friend, knew him since i was literally 3) have a house litttterally 1.5 miles form campus. this means i wont need a car (yay), and i wont need dorming anyways.
FAU has i think 15,000 kids on the campus. Honors college has 400.
the thing about this is... i want to become a teacher. i am ALL for pushing myself, and higher education, but I've spent the last 4 years in an exellerated school with 100 kids in my senior class. i HATED the small community. I'm a VERY open, social person... and having so few people around me made me feel like i was really missing out on a lot of highschool fun (believeeeee me i still had 4 years full of fun and memories)... i feel like i'd enjoy the big campus SO much more, +++ the campus is ALOT more chilled back, ALOT more heads, alot more beautiful nature, and alot more parties. I know regardless which college i go to, i'm going to get the MOST education i can get. I've ALWAYS been like a spounge when it comes to retaining information (regardless how stoned i am in class). i really cherish education, so i dont feel that a 15 person class size will mean anything compared to a 40 or 45 person class size. i also dont think the honors college will make my employer any more ready to hire me, compared to normal ol' FAU. I want to become a physics teacher, and i know the need for one is HIGHHHH. i know in half the schools in broward county alone dont have a certified physics teacher.
so, here it is again...
FAU: living in beautiful house next to campus with best friend(no car needed), larger campus, larger student body, more social atmosphere, normal ol' education.
honors college: amazing education. that's it.
i'm leaning towards FAU, i've been leaning towards FAU... but i have a small thought in the back of my head that's telling me "it'll be better for your future", etc.
input = love
=) love you all.
