certain ancient greek philosophers (i forget which ones) believed that beans had souls, and when you ate them the souls escaped from you in the form of farts, so i think i'd like to keep my soul in a bean because that's an awesome belief

Read this story once about potatoes having souls but no-one knew until one day god decided he'd let them speak. Well all the potatoes in the restaraunt spoke up by screaming bloody murder at once. Problem was, they died each time and kept coming back as potatoes because they were caught in a weird paradoxical karma loop. On one hand they were good to be supplying sustenance to others through their sacrifice, on the other all they did was scream about it because it sucked to have a fork stuck in em'. They didn't have any other karma because they were just potatoes so they were stuck. I wouldn't keep it in a potato.
