green viper queen

she came striking;
the green viper queen,
rhythmic and writhing
behind impulsive mirage
with her viral allure, and her
everlasting riptide
within undulating thighs
anything but innocent
and shy

and she wanted me to believe
the second our lips locked
heaven cleared of clouds
so that god could watch

and yes,
the moment felt enchanted,
a romantic, supernova surge,
but still, I couldn’t buy
us: peerless, unparalleled

so I withheld position
when I should have yelled,

bullshit!
we’re no fairy-tale
this is no never-never land;
that airborne sensation
is just imagination

but I was thunderstruck
by her coiled tongue technique,
how she clung skintight to me
and teased by love-bite.

I was lovesick, and lonely;
and she ate that alive.
