alone again.
They all left the party,
left me in the pure silence.

All this loneliness brings me to tears,
all this emptiness doesn’t make sense.
and the silence turns black.

Sometimes I wish
I could
change it,
but this is me, and what I do;
I’m cheating, playing a game.
Trying to be so much more than what I am.
I know you are doing the same, playing,
it’s just a different game.

Here I’m sitting, alone again.
All I ever wished for was some love.
But you
left me
in this helluva silence.

So I’m keeping company with ghosts.
I was too mad and crazy,
only cos’
I didn’t wanna follow the crowd.

I’m a lonely,
lonesome traveller,
got no one by my side.

So I was left alone again.
But this time I didn’t cry any tears.
I took the silence to my heart,
left it there.
