Cold embellished eyes
Who dared to race the Distance.

Not itching for a glance.

A stare with depth and hardened grace.

And a wrapping dryness that did emblaze

The insides of a dim cavern wall.

Therein sat a delicate figure.

Frail and slender and faint

Legs in flowered shape.

Tracing her long pale finger through the trackless rock.

Small scarlet whimpers exhaled from each jagged edge.

Unnoticed tears restrained their shed.



Alone she sat in wonder

All was there was wonder



Her humming a faint flowing melody

Traveled from her tempo’ed heart,
