I have never submitted poetry here before so I suppose this is how it works? anyway, hey ho:
morning seeped through cracked earth with vegnances red.
conflicting tears of the oceans rained upon the sun
and drained each liquid hunger from a decrepit kiss;
a starlit sky fell no more.
they fluttered gently across thin-sketched street lines,
spinning eyes and silent gasps that he twirled
between fingers and passed through his lips.
she watched and he passed her by,
painting street signs with remorseful sighs
pouring out from forests looming
between trembling holes in the skies.
and remaining alongside narrowed prints
she never did feel alone.
a night's vast glow trinkled streams
through hearts, where she sat and waited
for him to paint circles across her days once more.
