Just wondering if some experienced grower will tell me a rough average time for seedlings to rise up from the dirt. Mine so far have been extremely inconsistant ranging from 6 days to several weeks(up to 15 days). Is this normal, or am I nutrient defficient?

Seeds that have been sprouted and placed in soil correctly can take from 1-10 days to emerge from the soil assuming not placed to deep or over watered! If they dont emerge before ten days chances are they are not gonna!

Sounds like you have some old seedstock, they take longer to pop and often may not be worth growing- really old seeds pop, and grow slow. UNless it's a possibly rare strain your growing, id get fresh seed.
I did get my mutant afghani from old seedstock. But i started many seeds to get one good mom. IN fact im popping some of those beans now, Id swear it's been three weeks and some are still coming up- weak spindly ones though.\
The first week or so, the ones that came up look like they will do alright.
any that came up after week two are not doing well and will probably die.
BUt i just planted the old stock to see if i can get a good mommy out of them.
I have one batch of old stock left. IM going to try and pop those in microbial innoculants to prevent damping-ect. (doc hornbys piranha) I bet i get a lot higher germ. rate.
These seeds were outdoor stock from an area with lots of forest microbials- most of them harmful to cannabis. It is in the forest soils. Takes a lot to break down huge pine trees i suppose. Most would throw them away, I can't resist the experiment.
