Today i bought a soil ph tester and some miracle gro.

The soil ph tester also tests for nutrient defficiency in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. I already tested one plant with a few brown spots on it and it was short in nitrogen and phosphorus but was good for potassium. It was a $20 buy but i think it was worth it.

The miracle gro is 15-30-15 which is hopefully enough. i havent put any in yet because i had the food spikes in and im not sure if it could over fertilize. I was considerring flushing the pots with distilled water and then use the miracle gro the next watering.
Do you think this is a good idea? or will it hurt it not having nutrients for a few days?

I know it can be easy to overfertilize with foodspikes and bottled ferts. Id probly try digging up the spikes if you still can.

And i hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but miracle grow is referred to as "chemical grow" by most organic gardeners. ooops.

go foxfarm at least next time, please, for yourself.
I have used Miracle Grow quite a few times over the years myself.
But generally as a last resort if there is nothing else around, and the plants would suffer otherwise.
If you use it sparingly the product wont turn out chemically, but overfert with MG and you'll know it.
Im mainly just concerned about your health, metal poisoning can be serious shit.
get a kelp product- it will help the plants get vitamins naturally.and some batguano.
use those more than your mg and you'll be happier with your product.
mine is personal for two of us. But I have someone who wants me to grow their script. so maybe three soon.
