And you think piss testing is invasive?

Utah state police, with minimal medical training, will now be allowed to draw blood samples from DUI suspects themselves, rather than having to take the person to a hospital or clinic, to have a sample taken by a medical professional.

Anyone care to guess how long it's gonna take before the cops want to expand this to include non-DUI suspects accused of drug use?

They have no right to be sticking needles in people, that is simply too far, medical training or no.

OMG. This really should be considered "search and seizure without a warrant." Unbeleivable.

With this Congress this shit is going to get worse before it gets bettter.

What the fuck to pigs do, oh boy, go through some bullshit 6 month training and they get to DO WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT!

6 months?!?! Are you dreaming? The pig is deemed fully qualified after a ***4 SESSION CLASS!***

Does anyone smell "lawsuit" when Dr. Porky screws up a blood draw and hits an artery or a nerve or something? Wonder how long it's gonna be until one of these "instant phlebotomists" sticks themselves or somebody else with an HIV infected needle....

Yeah, this doesn't frighten me much. No one likes needles, the government would be receiving 100,000's of complaints. No way this will spread, or last in Utah.
