I was in walmart the other day and noticed Jiffy-7 Peat pellets, they start as flat little discs, that grow to be 2 inches tall of peat. I bought a 25 pack, and set some up to grow, they seemed to create pretty loose peat, while extremely wet. Any reasons that these would not be a great material to start my next batch of seedlings in? Also to mention, the warm water the pellets soaked in to grow was my nutrient treated water, 3-4 Drops of SuperThrive, and 1-1-1 fertilizer dissolved into the water.
