Was just wonder who thinks is the best all around pipe... like the perfect pipe... not meaning what you prefer to smoke out of... but more like the best hitting... best concealable.... best pipe overall....

I think its either a one hitter or a chillum... both are very concealable.. fit within the palm of your hand.... and with a chillum they hit very nice and usually stay cherried so you dont have to keep re-lighting them...

I wouldnt say that my one hitter tokes better than my other pipes, but it is by far the most versatile (unless I'm flying on an airplane). I take my bat everywhere with me. Plus, if I get busted I dont care if the cops get my bat, I can just buy a new one.

2. our havin a party and you have an ounce of fire ass dank and most the people at the party smoke. take your spoon out and pass that shit around. less chance of breaking when being passed multiple times and dont have to worry about re packing or spilling water or anything of that sort

3. your at work and you get a smoke break and you dont want ur boss to see you chiefein our of a pipe or anything so you break out the one hitter and sit in your car to him it looks as if you smoking a ciggarette but in reality your blazin up to make the work seem alot better

4. you have say a quarter to an oz of weed and its just you and say 4 other close friends. now its time to break out the bubbler. you trust all these ppl not to drop an easy breaking piece and it doesnt have to travel very far

basically it doesnt have a hit hole... you put a ball of tobacco in the pipe, push it down a bit, load your weed on top, hold a lighter to it while inhaling .. the weed burns quicker than the tobacco underneith, when the tobacco burns afterwards, the ball pulls through clearing the pipe allowing you to inhale like youve just took your finger off a hit hole..

You can't have an all-in-one, they simply can't exist because of the nature of what makes certain qualities. For example, for a pipe to be concealable it has to be small, but the smaller you make a pipe the more harsh it's going to hit on account of how small it is.

Personally I'd pick either a medium-sized bong or double chambered bubbler (like the one I posted up here a while pack, thread's called "the dubbler") because the hit is just so smooth. It actually lets you taste that variety of weed rather than getting all caught on the old tar and ash and bleh...grossiness. That's another thing - a reasonably clean bubbler or bong will hit much cleaner, but if you let it get dirty then you are in for some gross smoke.

Other pipes are decent sized but still fit in your pocket so they're more concealable if you haven't thought to use a backpack o.0 or if you're going into enemy territory (places where cops or other authority figures are likely to come check on what's crackin and might ask "whats that bong?")

a friend and i found a mini teapot that works as a pipe, bong and vaporizor. we had to biuld the bong slide piece but it fits inside the pot when we're done. it's not on the list but it's somewhat unique. i find it hits eceptionaly well and is very concealable. it doesn't even look like a piece unless you see it being smoked.

I would use a screen, unless you want to waste alot of good stuff, if you know what I mean. Hold your finger over the carb until half way thru your hit, then take your finger off and keep sucking on the pipe until you finish your hit. Just like a bong, only you don't have to lift the bowl like you do on a bong. Peace

I love the way to where if you put cold water in, it makes it so you don't really feel the smoke rushing in and you take bigger hits and get higher, faster. the one I have is a mini and works great as hell.You can hide it almost anywhere, even put it in your pocket! all smoking pieces are awesome but some are better smoked in places where others wouldn't. like a bong is best at home. pipes are good for bringing to party's. blunts and joints are great for chilling outside when it's cold. one hitters are great if you're around public (i use mine at school cause your allowed to smoke cigarettes there). bubblers are like bongs with a pipe mouthpiece and they're great wherever.

the others (sherlocks, sidecar, hammer) are just different varieties of pipes so each one is basically the same.

I have a Hammer and 2 spoons. I prefer the Hammer the most because of smooth hits and good high you get from water filtration. The spoons are cool one of them is about 3" and it saved my ass from being arrested cause of how small it is. Hits good and has decent bowl all glass too. Other one is awesome for when your kicking it with your homies nice bowl all glass party bowl pretty much wouldnt take it out too much tho because of size same with Hammer. steamrollers are awesome. :D basically the first kinda pipe i made. i know this might sound bad, but it was made of a 2" diameter clear PVC pipe, at 7" long. the bowl i got from the end of a garden hose, brass? i drilled a hole at about 2/half inches from the end and stuck that bowl on. then i just used a piece of construction paper and put a square underneath the bowl. it was so awesome! but eventually it got so dirty i just threw it away. i got my friend high for his first time with it. massive hits... :D

then i bought myself a thick/chunky color changing glass chillum fumed with gold and silver, it has a white spiralies twisting inside. they call it a GS Twist, its 4" and the colors i got change to green and yellow in a spiral, when its really resined up it turns to blue on the edges... i'd show u a pic but i cleaned it awhile ago. :D maybe i'll post it later, bought it online...

bub with a diffuser, glass screen.. but you need some phat weed, some keef, and some hash on it, to get the full effect. Feels like you eat some food, if you take a big hit

in my opinion spoons are the best pieces to smoke out of; they are fairly descreet as far as the ransid smell of resin goes, they're easy to pack, mine usually rolls so no problem with lighting

you only need a screen if the hole at the bottom of the bowl is big, my friend has a bowl and we never used screens when smoking out of it, as for my piece i have to use a screen cuz the hole is big, as for the carb just lift your finger off quickly and return to hitting the cherry until done

A 4-5 inch glass pipe with a carb is the best. Smoke, then stick it in your pocket and you're in stealth mode. They fit in your hand really nice, deliver a smooth and strong hit, and don't get too hot after a session. With bubblers, there's water to worry about, and with sherlocks and other weird shaped pipes you can't walk around with them in your pocket very well.
